The wind resource in the United States is vast. Using today’s technology, there is enough wind power flowing across the country to supply all of our electricity needs. Currently, many components for wind turbines installed in the U.S. are made outside of the U.S., which subjects wind turbine vendors to added costs due to foreign exchange fluctuations and increased transportation costs.

EFP plans to both produce windmill components and equipment as well as use wind turbines to generate electricity to operate equipment at our waste water treatment plant.

EFP is partnering with small wind turbine manufacturers that produce props, generators, towers, blades and inverters. EFP’s Eco-Industrial Park is the place to start, with current tenants that can help you fabricate and assemble.
